    I worked in a variety of roles with City of Toronto Recreational Programs including:- Dance Teacher- After 4 Club Counselor- Pre-Teen Lounge Supervisor- Camp Counselor- Camp CoordinatorThroughout my work, I demonstrated innovative programming ideas and dedication to providing a safe, fun, and constructive experience for the youth in our programs. I also participated in the planning and delivery of a variety of workshops, shows, and community events. In my time with the City of Toronto, my exceptional work ethic, responsibility, and interpersonal skills led to taking on leadership roles such as Youth Lounge Supervisor and Camp Coordinator.As the Supervisor for our youth lounge, I provided a safe and open space for youth, managed resources and scheduling, and acted as a mentor and role model for at-risk youth.As Camp Coordinator, I managed a staff of up to 5, including training, scheduling, and discipline. I maintained an organized camp budget and planned exciting themed camp sessions including arts and crafts, sports, music, drama, science, and more. As our camps were in the Regent Park neighbourhood, camp funding came from fundraising, so building relationships with donors and organizations was a crucial part of my role as Coordinator. I contacted prospects directly to recruit support, as well as setting up highly successful fundraising events.
