Currently working as a Biomed Information Systems technician which I monitor, update, make changes, and ensure all medical equipment is assigned within the correct network and location. I ensure all medical devices as named, assigned and meets Networked Medical Device Database (NMDD) standards also confirm all device and VLAND are within compliance and conformance (NMDD). I process request for new and make changes to access control list (ACL). I also specify which users or system processes are granted access to objects, as well as what operations are allowed on given objects.I resolve medical network problems by pre-emptive troubleshooting and applying strong network upfront planning. I included policies and procures such as: back-up methods, security, hardware and software standards, upgrade guidelines, and current network implementation documentations. This Eliminate any potential user errors, verify that physical connections are indeed working, Verify the status of any suspect NICs.
