Completing various multi-day sites for topographical surveys as well as measured building surveys. Using Leica RTC360, Leica BLK360 and GeoMax Total Station instruments to produce highly accurate and best practice controlled pointclouds.Establishing site wide control networks for multi day projects as well as tackling all types of sites to produce 2D and 3D topo drawings using BricsCAD. On the MB side I am delivering highly detailed floorplans, sections and elevational drawings for all manner of projects and clients.

    A full time position working for a medium sized surveying company in Somerset. Operating as a fully self-sufficient solo topographical surveyor with a Leica TS15 and Leica GS08 Viva GPS, I am able to deliver QA ready drawings of varying size and difficulty whilst using a combination of LSS software and AutoCAD to create 2D and 3D drawings. Alongside this role I am also a trained measured building surveyor using a Faro Focus3D X130 laser scanner with reference spheres/checkerboard targets and cloud-to-cloud registration through Faro Scene software to create highly accurate pointcloud data for CAD technicians back in the office.

    A full time position completing work for a small local firm working within a close knit team of five. With an extensive understanding and use of the Leica TS06 Total Station to survey all manner of sites across the south coast. From open green field sites, dilapidated buildings and city centre developments to beautiful cottages and local sports grounds. There are three main types of surveys we completed; topographical surveys, elevational and measured floorplans. The surveys were usually completed using a two man team. Due to the limitations of the position I had more experience in the assistant role, shooting and controlling the equipment than in walking the survey. I also used AutoCAD for 2D drafting for the topographical, elevational and floorplan drawings.
