    Saleh is responsible for inspection of catering facilities, dormitories, sanitary facilities, water supply contractor and etc. He is also responsible for managing the clinic in site. The clinic is rendering emergency and health care services for 24hrs of day. in the first days of the work, due to the request of the HSE Manager, Saleh had accepted to oversee permit to works rise on the site during prestart up of the plant and Saleh monitored all high risk activities. He held the classes of emergency response, permit to work and etc. During the days that HSE Manager was on his vacation Saleh was his eyes and has to assist the whole team.

    On the basis of the contract with the Iran National Oil Company, The Fateh Group is responsible for the maintenance of gas production platforms. These platforms are located in the Persian Gulf and have been in service for more than 10 years. Saleh was HSE Superintendent of the contracting company (Fateh Group), managing a team of 30 Safety Officers as well as a Health Expert to maintain the HSE system. Saleh’s team tasks included: routine checking of firefighting equipment and devices such as hose reels, hydrants, monitors, twin agents, portable and wheel extinguishers, chopper crash kits, checking, recharging and certifying emergency lifesaving equipment and crafts (lifeboats, life rafts & life jackets), first aid kits, SCBA & Escape BA, control over permits to work and standby for hot and other critical works. Additional tasks included HSE responsibilities covering chopper landing operations, tie up and cast off of boats, briefing and training of new workers, planning and holding training classes for current workers, TBM on job site & POB everyday checks. Additionally, Saleh’s duties included the overseeing of subcontractors, providing services with respect to HSE issues and coordination, checking and confirming their activities, including safety audits, measuring work environment harmful agents (such as noise, lighting, WBGT, chemical gases and vapors) and ergonomics.

    As an auditor, Saleh was involved in an annual assessment program entitled Safety Behavior Sampling (SBS) which was performed for the entire MAPNA group, where SBS was measured and analyzed in all company subgroups. Saleh was a member of the managing board, and his daily responsibilities as a researcher included gathering industry relevant news, writing of e-journals, updating the Institute website and setting up databases of electronic information, the purpose of which was to further the importance and necessity of HSE in Iran as a country.

    In this role, Saleh’s team inspected more than 40 construction projects such as tunneling and the construction of bridges & roads throughout the city and surrounding suburbs. Saleh’s team inspected the projects to ensure the adequate implementation of contractors' HSE requirements. These requirements were developed by the Civil Engineering Organization, and were based on National Regulations and common International Standards, including HSE-MS, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and BS Construction Safety Procedures.

    FIRMCO was the contractor of ARYA-SASOL Polymer, which had more than 500 personnel handling all maintenance and construction related tasks of the company. Saleh was responsible for the supervision of all HSE operations related to the company activities. Saleh drafted the company HSE plan, which resulted in a new record of 170 days without recordable incidents. His overall tasks and responsibilities included continuing assessment of the working environment, conducting workplace inspections and assessing the risk of health damage and injuries. Additionally, the tasks included assisting with providing information and training in the areas of workers’ health, ergonomics, general safety and environment work. This also involved the provision of information on health, environment and safety risks to employees (hazard communication), ensuring the continuity of anomaly reports by personnel, weekly and monthly machinery, equipment and camps inspections, checking permits to works and ensuring the work conditions matched the contents of the permits.
