Director of Fellowship and Protocol Relations
-
Nov 2022 - Present
As the Director of Fellowship and Protocol Relations at Lucky Friday, I straddle two worlds wearing numerous hats to support various initiatives and endeavors across our horizontally integrated business units. Although Lucky Friday is focused on NFT (Non-Fungible Token) collections that provide identity, governance, and utility across various communities in the Polkadot ecosystem, our sister company, GlobalStake, is slowly building out our Web3 presence by providing infrastructure to various blockchain protocols in the Polkadot ecosystem and beyond. Unlike many providers who simply rent out AWS or other centralized servers, GlobalStake is truly decentralized across various locations around the world and has the technology hardware and team to provide optimized validation and collation services set to a given chain's parameters.

Theory of Knowledge Teacher / Extended Essay Coordinator
-
Jun 2016 - Aug 2020
Primarily I serve as the classroom instructor for Theory of Knowledge, which is the capstone course for the International Baccalaureate Programme. The course is dedicated to examining knowledge, both personal and shared, through the lenses of various "Ways of Knowing" (e.g. perception, reason, intuition, etc) and "Areas of Knowledge" (e.g. Natural Sciences, Mathematics, History, etc) while simultaneously encouraging students to develop their own personal worldviews through critical analysis.Secondarily I perform another set of duties as the Extended Essay Coordinator, which is another crucial component of the IB programme. In order to earn their IB diploma, students must embark on a research project that culminates with them submitting a 4,000 word paper on a topic of their choosing. As the EE Coordinator, I am the main point of contact for the IB students and parents who have questions about the process, as well as working collaboratively alongside other IB faculty members who serve as EE Supervisors for several students each year.
