As Senior Mechanical Engineer, Russ performs energy analysis, provides technical direction and conducts detailed reviews for a variety of building energy efficiency projects. After starting as an Engineering Intern and getting promoted upon graduation, his experience has ranged from field research and retrofit projects to new construction design review and building energy simulations to document energy performance for green building rating systems. His specialty areas include multifamily buildings, ice arenas, boiler systems, refrigeration systems, and energy simulation. He is currently involved with the Sustainable Buildings 2030 energy standards project and multiple energy code compliance improvement and evaluation projects.
