    The Infrastructure division delivers major projects like Auckland’s underground rail links and America’s Cup development. The Infrastructure division has a turnover of NZD 500m. The company is listed on both the ASX and NZX. My role was accounting for Pacific Projects in Samoa & Vanuatu in a multi-currency environment of NZD, USD, WST & VUV. My role consisted of the following:• Liaise with project commercial managers, project managers and on-site administrators to ensure project revenue and costs forecast at completion are up-to-date and accurate for month end reporting into the consolidated Group result.• Working with the commercial manager to decide current month’s profit release and identify provisions required for additional costs arising from the contract.• Complete monthly multi-currency profit reporting for the airport construction project in Samoa, revenue NZD 49m, margin NZD 4m.• The same for various smaller projects in Vanuatu• Lead a team of 2 contractors in a project to re-state the Samoan airport contract in the JDE ledger.• Support the Tax Manager through a Samoan Inland Revenue audit of Income Tax, VAGST (GST) and PAYE.• Cashflow management for the projects.• Monthly rolling 12-month forecasting for the Pacific region infrastructure contracts.• Budget preparation for the Pacific.
