Provide loss prevention training and services to over 2750 member entities of the Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool. Primary focus is on supervision and management training programs. Lead instructor of the Risk Pools 3 day Tony Korioth Supervisor Academy using the ICMA program. Also conduct training for Fire/EMS, along with Public Works and Utilities. Topicsinclude driver training, emergency vehicle operations, confined space entry/rescue, excavation/trench safety and rescue, along with general safety training programs applicable to all departments. Continually review training programs and update as necessary. Assist with monthly webinars on various subjects, either as webinar host or as the primary speaker. Provide safety surveys along with accident/incident investigation when called upon. Part of our emergency response teams that responds after major weather related events, or other incidents as requested.

Have served in all positions from firefighter to Chief over the years. Instructor at the Annual Municipal Fire School at Texas A&M since 1994. Currently the lead instructor on Emergency Vehicle Operations in Firefighter Phase IV. Attended a 6 day Fire Command Operations (July '92) and a 6 day Community Master Planning - Fire Protection (February '93) at the National Fire Academy's VIP program.Instructor on various subjects at various weekend fire around the state ('92 - present).Part time instructor at Austin Community College fire academy in Taylor '97 - '00.

Worked with over 7500 water and wastewater operators conducting 9 different 20 hour regional schools and one annual school to provide training for their certifications. Assisted the 78 districts with training program for their monthly meetings and processed the training report to TNRCC/TCEQ. Conducted various training for areas schools and day schools held at various locations.

I hold a TCEQ Class C Surface Water Treatment Operator License, TCEQ Class B Wastewater Treatment Operator License, Basic Firefighter certification, EMT-B certification, Insurance Instituteof America - Public Entity Risk Management Certificate, Fire Department Safety Officers Association Incident Safety Officer Certification, along with various instructor certifications.
