-To facilitate integrated agriculture development planning at the watershed sub-watershed/community and micro-watershed/farm levels for the development of agricultural development plans at the (a) watershed/sub-watershed and community/suco levels and smallholders organization/micro-watershed/farm planning, advisory support and training at farmer group level aimed to guide the coordinated implementation and achievement SAPIP’s objectives of increasing productivity and income for target beneficiaries in the RW by using conservation and production criteria that cascade from the watershed to the sub-watershed/community and down to the micro-watershed/farm level in a nested approach. -Conduct SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) of Raumoco Watershed Management Council to generate inputs needed to update council’s strategic plan. Review and update Raumoco Watershed Management Plan(RWMP) and it’s implementation plan, formulate criteria in identifying protection and production zones, buffer zones and establishment of rules and regulations on allowable and not allowable activities for each zones. -Mapping of the exact location and boundaries of each zone and awareness-raising on the established zones. Assessment of conditions and trends in the watershed using Participatory land use Planning(PLUP)/PRA tools and problem analysis to developed Sustainable Community Agriculture Development Plan(SCADP) at the micro-watershed level.-Conduct SWOT Analysis and group level strategic development planning of existing farmer groups/sub-groups.Profiling of existing groups inside the identified suco level area,strengthening and formation of groups of men, women and young people, selection and training of Lead Farmers and establishment of group farmland. -Identify crops with market and income potential and their value chain, benefit cost analysis of proposed activities/projects and prepare business proposals for SAPIP funding.
