    I worked on the issues related to the introduction of electricity derivatives in the power market and developed a business plan for digitizing the bilateral trading of electricity in India. For the first part I looked into the conflict going on between CERC(Electricity regulator) and FMC(forward market regulator) and also studied various regulations such as Forward Contract Regulation Act(FCRA) 1952, CERC's Power Market Regulations Act 2010, etc.. For the second I developed a business plan for an online platform which help buyers and sellers to put up their bids, negotiate and enter into bilateral contracts with each other as per the applicable rules and regulations of CERC and SERCs.
