    I assisted in the preparation of UNRWA's biennial regular and extra budgetary activities, and exercised budgetary control throughout UNRWA in relation to staffing tables. I provided advice on budget standard costing. I reported on financial data to senior management through the Chief, Budget Division. I regularly reviewed the status of budget and expenditures data in order to ensure that expenditures were in line with budget allotments. I regularly reviewed the status of donor-funded projects in order to ensure that projects were implemented in accordance with donors' contractual agreements and coordinated with UNRWA's External Relations Office on implementation/deviation of donors-funded projects.

I reviewed and amended Finance Technical Instructions, Financial Rules and Manual of Financial Procedures.
