    Plan, schedule, and coordinate machine shop and assembly activities to fulfill sales orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver manufactured products in a timely fashion.Provide backup for maintenance, quality and shipping and receiving based on daily overflow.Coordinate plant activities with production planning and 1st shift managers to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards and document accordingly.Control and minimize labor overtime, premium freight and repair expenses.Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; recommend replacements or adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary.Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.Implements and maintains preventative maintenance programs.Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel.Manage the organization and maintenance of the assembly and test work environment.Provides constant feedback and input into process improvement for machine shop and assembly personnel.Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety procedures and complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.Facilitates scheduled meetings and actively participates by providing meaningful guidance to the assembly and test staff and supervisors.Responsible for staff management and development including assigning and directing work, appraising performance, hiring, training and retention, disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving problems.Ensure that all personnel working under your supervision adhere and fully comply with the Company’s Code of Conduct and ethics.Administer performance management, progressive discipline and attendance tracking systems.
