At Group 1 Software, I was responsible for the billing and maintaining of our client's Software Maintenance and Database Renewal costs. I reviewed incoming payments each day and notified Product Fulfillment and Customer Service of the status of the clients' accounts. Each month, I generated the invoices for anywhere from 275 to 425 clients. The process utilized PeopleSoft and Excel in a batch-processing environment. As part of the billing, I had to review the clients' contracts to make sure that the billing was in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the contract. In addition to billing and payment application, I often audited clients' accounts in the billing system to ensure that payments were posted to the General Ledger correctly and offset properly against the individual account. Another of my job duties was the handling of paper and electronic purchase orders from both private and government sectors. Aside from my monthly billing and accounting duties, I also developed a project file to track the company's Business Partnerships. I developed a presentation that I delivered quarterly to the Board of Directors and Executive Management Team.
