I moved from the Americas team lead to the position of lead ECM business analyst as the three KBR regions (Asia Pacific, Americas, and Europe Middle East) combined under a new manager to focus on bringing the three regions into a standard environment. As the lead business analyst I was the liaison between the regional Documentum leads and the business. I also took responsibility for moving thee standalone UK based applications that interfaced into Documentum from a UK only usage to a global usage. Other Key Accomplishments:1. Setup two SharePoint sites for Documentum; Documentum users and Regional Documentum Support teams for collaboration.2. Set up the process and documentation for the long term archival of project metadata and content.3. Created a requirement document and test cases document for a new APEX application to be used by the regional Documentum team leads to manage the Documentum environment replacing a number of regional spreadsheets and documents.

The first Documentum 4i project deployment (see below) was so successful, the project client immediately required the Documentum 4i solution deployed to his other projects. This required me to recruit and grow a Documentum team to be able to support multiple projects in the Americas region. Based on user feedback request I also recruited a Documentum developer and began the design of new desktop client tools to improve the document management user experience. Working with a third party vendor I developed the requirement document to interface an existing KBR in-house developed document management application. Once implemented the document management hours were significantly reduced as the need to double entry the data was eliminated. When Documentum released the WebTop client, I was responsible for the migration the desktop client custom tools to be WebTop based. And since WebTop did not work like the desktop client addition tools were requested by the business. I prepared the new tools requirement documents along with design specifications. Once the new tools were created and deployed to the test environment and managed the UAT and user adaption. During my time as the America’s team lead I also performed project manage functions to upgrade to new versions of Documentum.
