, Middle EastWorking in the Brigade HQ in Basra, this challenging and demanding role involved supervising 60 multinational staff and serving over 500 personnel per meal. Additional tasks include:Planning and delivering a range of VIP functions for Senior Officers, Ambassadors, Politicians and Senior Kellog, Brown and Root (KBR) personnel. Assisted in the opening of a new catering facility in Kandahar, Afghanistan supervising a team of 150 staff on a daily basis. Tasked with managing an outstation with responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of 200 Afghanistan Staff and 50 Supervisors. The outstation covered multiple services including housing, front of house duties, staff welfare, catering and cleaning. Supported business development by contributing to successful bids and helping to secure new contracts and future business for KBR. Set up and ran a Basic English training programme for Afghani Locall Employees.1993 - 2004 OTHER EMPLOYMENTVarious catering-related roles in several hotels and restaurants from front of house to Head Chef.
