    Served as board member at large, vice chair and chair, organized Rogue River Rodeo, actively governing the affairs of the Curry County Fair and fair grounds in Curry County Oregon a thirteen acre campus on the beach at the mouth of the Rogue River in Gold Beach, Oregon. Involved in policy review, employee review, annual budget planning, monthly budget review, quarterly budget review, planning the county fair, being responsive to the general manager, the employees, the tenants, the donors, the public, the county board of supervisors and general requirements as deemed by the governor and state law. Responsible to develop and execute long and short term plans, business planning, upkeep and improvements of the buildings and the grounds along with capital and non-capital expenditures.

    I serve on the Curry County Junior Livestock Auction Committee a not for profit corporation. We organize the annual junior livestock auction and BBQ. Youth throughout the county raise market livestock, compete for confirmation and showmanship and sell their market livestock projects to the highest bidders. The committee raises funds, sets and enforces rules for the treatment of the animals, runs the auction, collects buyers' monies and distributes proceeds to the sellers. The event raises between thirty thousand and fifty thousand dollars for the youth annually.

    Worked as a tender and broke out as a surface excursion diver and on to a bell sat; diver, sat tech, life support tech. Worked as a surface excursion and sat diving supervisor, superintendent and project manager. Built, installed and maintained sat systems, operated shallow and deep water diving vessels including small and large oil field service vessels, small and large construction barges, pipe laying barges, derrick barges, Semi submersible lift and drilling barges, developed sub-sea pipeline laying and burial equipment and techniques. Worked as a project manager on numerous multi-million dollar projects. As partner, helped to develop and execute a profit sharing scheme based on profit centers and job by job performances.

    Throughout my career I have worked both part time and full time for OI. Starting out at UTS in Santa Barbara I was building and repairing all types of diving equipment as well as recommissioning Sat Systems, Bell Bounce Systems and Arm Bells. Throughout my work experience at OI I was involved with multiple Diving System installations on semis, work class vessels, construction barges and inland installations. I worked as a tender, a rack operator and a diver as well as a diving supervisor on both air and HeO2 surface excursion work. I always strove to be a safe worker and to create and maintain safe working environments. The crews I worked with never missed earning our safety bonuses . I made positive contributions while serving on a committee representing OI with Exxon"s Safety Conference to build and improve safe work procedures.Having been involved with the design and construction of marine projects and marine equipment I was invited to work on achieving customer requirements associated with the durability and maintenance of mechanical creatures for the "Count down to extinction" attraction at Animal Kingdom. The necessary actuators, bushings, bearings, motion detection, machine and motion control system improvements were identified, designed and installed in both wet and dry scene creatures during the week prior to the grand opening.
