The largest, and most diverse company that I created, Devonian Stone of New York, Inc. The company exceeded Industry standard for profitability by 17%.Companies such as Apple, Harvard University, The Smithsonian Institute, Rutgers University, Colgate Palmolive, Yale University, Corning Glass, Princeton University, The Dakota Apartment Building NYC and many other institutions and historical Buildings went on to become proud owners of my products. The company was sold in December of 2016.1984-1994: Construction, site layout, excavation, sea wall construction, drainage, asphalt paving and concrete. My company ultimately performed work for some of the most prestigious residential and largest commercial clients on Long Island. The company was sold in 1994.1982-1984: Landscape maintenance and design. Sold after 2 short years. SIGNIFICANT ACOMPLISHMENTS• Designed and developed the first modern, scientific, mineral exploration process for one of New York State’s most valuable minerals, credited by the NYSDEC and New York Geological Survey. • Re-branded and re-manufactured an old product with a poor reputation into a world class product.• Invented, designed, built and patented a stone finishing machine for the stone manufacturing industry. This machine dramatically increased my profitability• Developed a certified continuing education course for Architects and taught in NYC.• Developed proprietary dimensional stone blasting techniques, a licensed explosives instructor/blaster.• Became an instrument-rated Sukhoi-29 aerobatic competition pilot with 1000 hours of flight time in over 20 different types of aircraft.• Studied and practiced in the sciences of Meteorology and Geology.
