    The Head of Programs job entails providing professional management services to all projects in UNKEA, and lead in the implementation of all policies of UNKEA. Key duties are:Provides strategic leadership, coordination, and management for the development of quality programs in line with the strategic plan of the organization. Support the integration of activities among different sectoral programs and departments.Take lead in the formulation, revision, and contextualization of UNKEA Program Strategy. Take lead in identifying and developing new ideas for programs, donors, and new potential partnerships with interested parties. Provides support to ensure inclusion of cross-cutting issues in the design of all programs.As a senior management team member take lead in maintenance of high-level organizational awareness on available funding opportunities in the sectors and geographical areas of UNKEA’s operations in South Sudan as well as lead the development of a resource mobilization plan and strategy.With support of MEAL department and Sector Specialists, promote learning and knowledge management by leading program reviews and reflections, provide support to program teams in integrating good practices and lessons learned into programmingOversee the identification, assessment and strengthening of appropriate partnerships; develop strong links with a range of strategic partners and if appropriate plan and implement joint programsWith the Executive Director, represent UNKEA and participate in networking and cluster meetings, events, and forums.Engage in advocacy and policy dialogues ensuring UNKEA’s strategy, vision and mission are visible to all concerned.

    Identify and develop operational research and publication opportunities arising from the organization with other institutions; A member of the Nutrition Cluster Strategic Advisor Group (SAG) and attend - SAG meetings to provide technical support to the SAG as described in the TOR of the SAG.     The nutrition specialist’s job entails providing professional information on management services at service facilities. Responsible to oversee the commissioning and provision of excellent and affordable nutrition service within the community through the general practitioners, community nutrition services, primary health centres. He/she liaises with the clinical and non-clinical staff. Write all required reports, proposals, delivering presentations to varied audiences including highly ranked nutrition and M&E professionals, nutrition meetings, NGO forum at both national and international levels. Advise in the selection, recruitment, professional and capacity development an appraisal of staff. Oversee the procurement of all program supplies, equipment, transportation and storage. Oversee the requisition and expenditure of finances and other resources for the project. Fully represent the organization in Nutrition Cluster meetings and a member of all the Nutrition cluster Technical Working Groups.A member of the Nutrition Cluster Strategic Advisory Group (SAG) and attend - SAG meetings to provide technical support to the SAG as described in the TOR of the SAG.
