Virco Manufacturing involved starting up two major facilities, the first in Torrance, CA with a 600,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility with a capital budget of $12MM. The second in Conway, AR with a 1.2MM sq. ft. manufacturing facility with a capital budget of $70MM.

    Part of management team responsible for planning and executing plant start up for Government FSD (full scale development) program for SADARM (sense and destroy armor) program. Developed and submitted to US Army the manufacturing bid for SADARM program. This was 80% of a $350MM bid over eight (8) years.

    Responsible for all accounting and financial management for four (4) plant manufacturing division in Houston, TX area. Annual sales over $130MM and total employment over 2,000. Managed accounting staff of 35 accountants and clerical personnel including all accounting functions. Part of management team that implemented ERP system. Within two (2) years, tripled cash flow, reduced inventory from $25MM to $5MM, and quality cost from 12% to 1%.
