    I was responsible for the vision and plans for the Northwest of England to maximise the impacts of the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. This included strategy development, programme management and evaluation of the Northwest’s legacy plans for the Games. I represented the Northwest nationally providing the link between London 2012 (via the Nations and Regions Group), Government Olympic Executive and other Government departments in order to help maximise the impacts of London 2012 in the region.

    In 4 years at PMP I progressed to the role of Senior Consultant predominantly working on major projects for clients including UK Government, Local Organising Committees, UK Sport, Sport England, NGBs, and Local Government. This included strategic planning, change management projects, monitoring and evaluation, business planning, funding applications, feasibility studies, and auditing.I was also appointed Head of pmpFootball with responsibility for developing this new area of business. This involved; relationship management with key national agencies including the Football Association and Football Foundation; responsibility for winning and project managing new work; and presenting at a number of national and international conferences and seminars such as Soccerex, the world's leading football business event.
