Responsible for the direction of the group, business travel, leisure travel, and catering sales efforts of this 215-room waterfront resort located in Carlsbad, CA. Hotel opened in July, 2012 and is a franchise partner of Hilton Hotels and Resorts and owned by Wave Crest Hotels. In addition, direct supervision of all marketing, digital marketing, social media, and public relations activities for resort, restaurant, and spa. Work in very close partnership with the Director of Revenue Management to deploy rate, revenue and business strategies for all market segments. Direct a staff of 9 managers to include 3 Group Sales Managers, Catering Manager, Director of Catering, Director of Conference Services, Director of Business and Leisure Travel, Marketing Manager and Assistant Marketing Manager.

Responsible for the branding and repositioning of this 80 room Inn located in the heart of Rancho Santa, Fe, CA. The hotel opened in 1923 and most recently was owned by a family trust for the past 50 years. 2014 revenue showed an increase of 44.8% over 2013 Assembled the sales, marketing, catering and revenue management teams.Responsible for the marketing and sales development for the 21 residential homes located at The Inn. These homes range in size from 1,000-3,000 square feet with monthly rents starting at $6,500 per month. Residential revenue increased 41% within the first year.Directed the group sales effort with 2014 revenues showing an increase of 44.3% over 2013.Worked in close partnership with the Director of Revenue Management on package creation and rate deployment for all market segments. In 2014, The Inn increased occupancy 53.4%, ADR 9.2%, and RevPar 67.8% over 2013. Assisted with the development of the brand platform, brand pillars and positioning within the community.Responsible for completion of new website, spa platform and branding, restaurant positioning, all printed collateral and digital assets.Oversight of social media strategies and online reputation management. Direct responsibility and supervision of the CRM, SEO and PPC campaigns with partners to include ScreenPilot, I-Sites and Hospitality Marketing and Associates.Central point of contact with the public relations agency and acted as the principal point of contact for The Inn within the community of Rancho Santa Fe.

Pre-opening Director of Sales and Marketing for this 249 independent luxury resort. Responsibilities included branding, advertising, and website development for the entire resort to include The Grand Del Mar, Addison at The Grand Del Mar, The Villas at The Grand Del Mar and The Grand Golf Club. Assisted in the due diligence of brand affiliation and advertising agency of record with the selection of Preferred Hotel Group and SK+G Advertising.Assembled the group, leisure and revenue management team at the resort which included the inclusion in Virtuoso and American Express' Fine Hotels and Resorts program.Most recently, had the direct oversight of group sales, reservations and revenue management teams. In 2011, the resort achieved a 20% increase in total room revenue in comparison to 2010. Specific to the group market, the resort showed an increase in group room revenue of 23% to 2010. Group room revenue PACE for 2012 was +25% compared to same time last year.In 2011, the resort achieved a Forbes Five Star rating to join Addison and The Spa at The Grand Del Mar, one of only five hotels in the world to achieve a "triple five star rating".
