    In June 2010 I was offered the opportunity to move from the design department of Concord Lighting into a sales role, an opportunity which was eagerly anticipated. Using my lighting design experience I was tasked with calling on London based Lighting Designers and Consultancies. Key responsibilities within this role include building and maintaining business relationships, and offering a professional service to these key accounts. The main objective is to promote and support the Concord Lighting range of Architectural Luminaires throughout the specification process and provide project assistance whenever necessary. During my time as a Project Engineer for Concord Lighting I have gained invaluable experience and resources with regard to Project and Account management for a major lighting manufacturer.My general knowledge of the lighting industry as a whole has been accelerated; with a particular personal interest in LED based luminaire technology, and have relished the opportunity to converse on product development with key personnel within the company.

In this role I managed the design workload of the Southern Division Sales Team, dealing with enquiries from Sales Engineers and their clients alike.During my time in the design department at Concord Lighting I have gained valuable experience in working for a luminaire manufacturer, gaining new skills with regard to product selection and development.

In this role I managed the time and workload of a six person design team, dealing with new enquiries from the Business Development Managers as well as maintaining professional relationships with existing clients.
