    Responsible for analyzing and tracking IBM's worldwide $150 Million SystemX warranty and technical support budgets, completing annual accrual analysis, producing monthly forecasts, creating cost/benefit analyses for proposed product improvements, developing business cases for new products and services, verifying charges and entitlement, and organizing the fall planning process.  Received a management award for completing the worldwide service and support rollout of Linux for IBM servers on time and under budget. Utilized Brio and SPSS Modeler to automate monthly entitlement and mis-billing reports, resulting in a considerable increase in efficiency.  Awarded second U.S. patent for “System and Method for Early Detection of System Component Failure”.  Wrote three IBM developerWorks articles and received an Author Award.

    Responsible for planning and coordinating the introduction of IBM system management products, software applications, services, IBM’s Network Station, and a number of Network Operating Systems.  Developed product requirements and oversaw planning of the product’s entitlement, licensing, support and training.  Received an informal teamwork award, a Leadership Award, and two Suggestion Awards.

    Responsible for analyzing and presenting call data using SQL/DB2 and REXX procedures, maintaining technical databases, submitting technical tips and developing a closed loop quality process with development.  Reduced the number and cost of calls coming into the call center by identifying product defects early in the product life cycle. Increased productivity by developing high quality and timely technical information/tips.

    Managed a team of 40 specialists responsible for handling 12,000 customer calls each month. Provided 24/7 support regarding IBM network adapters, hubs and bridges.  Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, promoting and evaluating all specialists. Managed team budgeting and reporting expenses and provided Level 2 technical support.
