    As an Associate Director, I have a more significant role in growing PRecious Indonesia alongside my colleagues and market lead. With the changing landscape and as we ushered to the 2024 Indonesia general election, our work in PRecious also expanded. We are working with businesses, NGOs, and associations to promote policy changes, develop good governance practices, and tell meaningful stories that can inspire changes to combat the climate crisis.My current responsibilities include: - Grow and manage PRecious Indonesia's capacity, especially considering Indonesia's recent development as we entered the election year. This includes participation in founding the Indonesian chapter of the PRCA network.- Develop and deliver communications strategies for Indonesia and regional clients, including helping navigate the Indonesian business landscape. This client base includes a global professional consulting firm, a global defense company, and a global foundation focusing on sustainable forest and land use.- Develop new services for PRecious Indonesia; as of today, we have expanded our offerings to include SOP development, media training, market intelligence, and public campaigns.

    In 2021, I was given additional responsibility as a full-time staff at WRI Indonesia. The role provided me with more access to support the project team, including peatland restoration, urban forestry, and clean energy. During the period of my work, I have supported the team for: - Developing strategies for communications activities mainly in driving journalists across Indonesia to develop stories on peatland restoration monitoring and the low carbon development initiative- Developing communications strategy and products for the energy team and PLN, the Indonesia national utility company, during the Renewable Energy Certificate launch. The certificate is the first of its kind in Indonesia and will allow companies to fulfill their clean energy requirement while enabling PLN to develop more renewable energy products.My day-to-day responsibility includes developing and delivering communications and engagement strategies at the project and organization levels. I also build, maintain, and improve engagement with numerous stakeholders such as central and regional governments, partners, journalists, communities, key opinion leaders, and various donors of WRI Indonesia.Additionally, I support WRI Indonesia's office by co-developing communications strategies, managing multiple communications channels, and improving WRI Indonesia's communications practice. I also provide analysis and insight from all communications activities as a part of learning and evaluation.

    My experiences in this position were: - Developed plans and conducted journalist training sessions on an online spatial peatland monitoring platform for journalists at the national level. I collaborated with Badan Restorasi Gambut and Aliansi Jurnalis Independen Jakarta Chapter to conduct this training- Worked with The Jakarta Governor's Team for Accelerated Development (TGUPP) in developing and disseminating messages on the benefit of trees, parks, and forests for cities and its populations. - Collaborated with two regional organizations for developing and conducting outreach and advocacy activities on sustainable peatland management in Southeast Asia. The aims of the activity are to eradicate the open burning practice which leads to forest fire, which ultimately to mitigate the risk of the climate crisis.
