Area Leader 2005-2010Magna Closures-Windsor Modules• Travelled and worked in Richmond Hills, Ontario,-Shelby, Michigan and Columbus, Ohio in preparation of new plant start-up/production launch in Windsor, Ontario to supply door modules to Chrysler Corporation in Windsor, Ontario and St. Louis, Missouri for the RT Mini-van program.• Assisted engineering with the design and build of proto-type and testing through DV and PV stages. Worked with DCX engineering in Auburn Hills, Michigan on site with the new Chrysler Mini-van proto-type vehicle build.• Worked on-site in Ohio at assembly line manufacture (A.T.S) proving out equipment/tooling prior to shipment to plant. • Hired and trained temporary and full time employees in all locations.• Responsible for all proto-type material, assembly build and transportation of all modules and components shipped to various locations in Canada and U.S for testing.• Assisted with new plant start-up/production launch in Shelby, Michigan for the Chrysler JS Sebring program.• Assisted in the training of all new production supervisors and salary staff in the Windsor plant.• Purchased and sourced assembly tools, factory equipment and supplies.• Assisted in the organization and improvement of machine/equipment/material lay-out• Direct communication with Chrysler scheduling and transportation dealing with all out going shipments on shift to the customer in a just in time/sequence part delivery contract.• Direct supervision on shift of approximately 82 hourly production members as well as in-direct supervision of maintenance, materials, quality and out-side contract employees.• Dedicated, results orientated and strong willed with the desire to succeed in meeting goals and objectives on a daily basis.
