Lead role creating a UK Senior General Manager team, sharing best practise, presenting the strategy and results to the director team and working with the training team putting a personal development programme in place. Used the Dorset club as a test bed in creating the right operational and people structure to lead the way in the newly acquired racquets health clubs and set the standard for the UK business. Consolidated two health clubs through the closure of one club and transfer of 2000 members and 45 staff to create a hugely successful health and racquets club. Lead role in the £4.6m refurbishment of the Dorset club and the development and implementation of the return on investment plan. Developed and implemented a 5 year plan for the Dorset club seeing the membership grow 60% and profit (measured as EBITDA) increasing 8 fold during the 5 year period.
