Investigate and ensure follow up• Liaise with Risk Management to ensure implementation of any standardized security and safety practices• Conduct Monthly Fire Safety Inspections• Review Annual and Monthly Fire Safety inspection reports from contractors.• Consult with Police to prepare CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) reports on the property.• Organize annual Fire Alarm & Sprinkler inspections• Organize annual Emergency Lighting & Fire Extinguisher inspections• Co-ordinate with tenant and landlord contractors regarding shutdown of fire alarm panel or sprinklers for work to be completed.• Develop and assist in the implementation of the Emergency Plans• Review and recommend appropriate security systems required (i.e. C.C.T.V., access systems, fire safety, etc.)• Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act as well as other legislation requirements (Management Co-Chair on Health & Safety Committee)
