      • As a full-time Financial Analyst on the World Bank-funded $100 million (US) SAGCOT Investment Program (SIP), I was responsible for co-designing the SIP Matching Grant Fund (MGF) Operations Manual which would govern how the $55 million (US) MGF would operate and be implemented.• I designed the financial MGF application, using designated financial criteria, including the internal rate of return (IRR), economic rate of return (ERR) and return on investment (ROI) by which MGF agribusiness applicants would be judged.• I co-analyzed 71 Concept Notes, applying the rigorous criteria developed by the MGF team, contained in the MGF Operations Manual, and co-nominated 20 agribusiness Concept Notes for approval to the Government of Tanzania and the World Bank, in staple food crops, dairy and poultry, cashew nuts, fruits and vegetables and animal feed products whereby the SAGCOT MGF contributed $ 37.5 million and the firms were seeking $20.8 million in MGF, for a cumulative value of $58.3 million of new agribusiness investment..• Unfortunately, the Government of Tanzania (GoT) decided not to go forward with the SIP and the MGF; in December 2018, the GoT requested that the World Bank cancel the program. In January 2019, the World Bank agreed to cancel the SIP and the MGF.• Since March 1, 2019, I have been assisting KPMG with various financial advisory services, especially for the International Development Advisory Services unit.
