I sent Dan Murray critical comments on the his first edition of Tableau Your Data!. Dan’s response was unique – he said Thanks; and asked me to be technical editor of the second edition. Dan's comment on my work: "Dick….many thanks for your diligent and detailed efforts. You have made this a better book."

Kindering is the largest birth-to-3 intervention center in Washington State and the third largest in the nation. I started as a volunteer and became a part-time employee. • Quickly realized that the existing data entry and reporting process, which consisted of passing copies of Excel, Word, FileMaker and hand completed forms between users, needed to be replaced. • Translated the needs of parents, therapists, billing, management, family resource coordinators, and the state reporting system into product features. Integrated them into a single robust, user-friendly, HIPPA compliant, database system. • The users are pleased and state auditors declared it “the best they had seen.”
