I have lived in the Hawkes Bay region for over 26 years and during this time I have developed a strong network throughout the rural community, from farming families through to financial institutions and government agencies. My work with Coach Approach Rural is about independently facilitating and taking a 'coaching approach' to transition rural families towards their goals and aspirations, (Predominantly Strategic Succession Planning and or Exit Planning) We understand their values and to use these to help them achieve their goals, whatever they maybe. Working one on one with my clients I am able to offer a personalised service, tailored specifically to their needs. Succession planning is a vital factor for farming families and the independent facilitation I provide my clients enables them to work together towards intergenerational change. With extensive experience and knowledge of working with the rural community I am able to relate with all generations in a rural family, throughout the varying stages of their working life. Building effective and strong relationships with my clients is key strength I have developed and apply in my role with Coach Approach Rural Ltd.

The East Coast Rural Support Trust (ECRST) help people and families in the wider rural community who experience an difficult event - climatic, financial or personal - to more effectively meet and overcome these challenges. Wanting to give something back to the rural community I initially began my work with ECRST as a Trustee and am now the Hawkes Bay Regional Coordinator. My role with the Trust is quite varied, from facilitating support during rural challenges and difficulties, acting as a facilitator and advocate with government and financial organisations, through to assisting with emergency relief during an adverse event.http://eastcoast.rural-support.org.nz
