We do it more than anyone.Tuna fishing, the way I do it, is the most exciting form of fishing on the planet. We cast surface lures and jig for them. You'll never forget it.     Life comes full circle. After graduating from Harvard in 1992 with a degree in Economics, I did what many of us did...I went to Wall Street. I, however, did not like the culture and lifestyle there. It wasn't personal enough and they had life backwards. But you only live once! After 10 years in the business of helping people plan for retirement, the reality that not everyone gets to enjoy a great retirement began to take its toll. Early deaths, cancer, strokes, bad divorces, and other unplanned life events compounded the fact that "you only live once."So, at the encouragement from my wife, I became a charter boat captain. Yes, a Harvard-grad fisherman! I did great at it and quickly became as busy as possible. Everyone always asked "what do you do in the winter?" I happily was able to answer "I spend a lot of time with my wife and kids."I said that life comes full circle. Yes it does! For the very same reason that I got out of finance, "you only live life once", I once again uttered those words. This time, however, it was the reality that the physical toll of being on the open ocean every day WAS GOING TO KILL ME! Yes, "you only live once" doesn't mean that you should burn yourself out for an early death!My full circle is complete now that I am back in finance! I feel "home". I enjoyed simplifying their lives and finding the best solutions to their problems. .Mortgages allow me to combine my great analytical skills with my true love of helping people. When you consider the fact that the results of my efforts allow people to live for today AND plan for tomorrow it is clear that being a loan officer IS the completion of a lifetime of work!I truly love this. It doesn't feel like work at all.
