    As the Israel Fellow at OC Hillel, I was responsible for creating an ongoing Israeli presence for Jewish students at UC Irvine, CSU Fullerton and Chapman University. I partnered with student leaders to plan and create Israeli events and holidays, and provided opportunities for students to discuss and experience a variety of aspects of Israeli life and culture. I also brought back to life an Israeli-American student group called Mishelanu (part of the Israeli American Council) on multiple campuses in Orange County after 1-2 years of no activity.

    At e4e I led a group of 12 college students teaching children aged 8-12 after school. I was responsible for training and materials, curriculum, events and teaching. This program aims to reduce social gaps by creating equal opportunities for children in Israel’s periphery with the potential for excellence.

    In my second year of National Service, I tutored groups of Ethiopian students through a program that provides homes for at-risk youth. I tutored in English, Hebrew and math. I was also responsible for creating educational materials.
