My wife and I spent a season working and skiing at Revelstoke Mountain Resort. Here I worked as a server at a restaurant on the hill. I learnt a great deal about communication with others and working in an extremely fast moving environment with differing personalities and backgrounds.

While living in Vancouver I worked for 4 months at a local sports store. I have a personal interest in both skiing and cycling so this was a good fit for me. My past experience meant I had some tech skills but I was trained up to the store standards. I also worked on the floor talking to customers and helping out with sales of goods. I started to learn the art of product sales and enjoyed being part a team of sports enthusiasts.
