Perform manual prototype validation and verification testing on equipment for broadcast video distribution (Modular Receiver-Decoders, Transcoder, Satellite Modulator, RF Probe, Stream Player, Video over IP). Prototype hardware and especially software builds were tested for feedback to the product development engineers by checking the user experience, product performance and stability in user and signal interfaces (RF, ASI, MPEG over IP, digital video and audio, web page, front panel, SNMP) against the product specifications, before release testing. Bug reporting in JIRA. In the last 2 years the software team and test engineers used Agile development methods.
