    As the Personnel Analyst, I am the District Recruiter for Classified Personnel (Non-teaching positions). This responsibility expands into testing and selection.Included in my responsibilities are examination of current classifications for updates related to duties and/or salary ensuring the internal alignment of the salary schedule related to this work performed in the school district.As an Analyst I have the additional opportunity to work with employees regarding work accommodations when an injury occurs in collaboration with our Human Resources Department and the department of the injured employee. Working with employee groups, district administration and the employee affected gives me the opportunity to provide assistance whenever possible.As the Analyst, I must reinvent myself to reach the most qualified applicants who will add to the value of the employee base at Compton Unified School District.The work of the Analyst requires that I have people in mind when performing the various aspects of work I do.Teamwork is a must in the Personnel Commission Office. Being able to communicate effectively, support the Sr. Director and other staff members requires flexibility, forethought, planning, attention to detail and the desire for all to succeed within our organization.
