    I worked at Whirlow hall farm trust as an volunteer in the events and fundraising office. During my work placement here, I was able to develop my skills i needed to work in the events Industry.I had the brilliant opportunity of being able to plan & organise a Halloween event for families, which helped to raise money for the charity, this allowed me to learn about the different aspects of planning an event and gave me very valuable experience in the workplace.When planning the Halloween event, I learned about the involvement of making an event happen, which includes; the date and time of the event, the entertainment and activities which were taking place, the venue, the capacity, the facilities, the budget, the marketing, ticket sales, the decoration of the venue, the catering, the staffing of the event, sponsorships etc.
