As part of my role with Jigsaw, I work as a researcher for the EdTech Hub: a global non-profit research partnership, which aims to empower people by giving them the evidence they need to make decisions about technology in education. In this role, I am:- Contributing to multi-year research studies focused on the impact and potential of EdTech (with a particular focus on digital personalised learning in Kenyan classrooms).- Producing academic outputs to help inform the wider EdTech sector.

This youth-led global organisation enables university students to create meaningful initiatives for the development of disadvantaged communities around the world. As a member of the executive committee , my leadership role includes:- Leading Kite's 'Connect' strategy, managing our global Network of student-led member organisations through regular Summits, knowledge management, and external communications. - Establishing the NGO’s first long-term strategy plan, including budget forecasts and outreach, building links with students in new countries in addition to the current Member Organisations in Canada, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and the UK. - Recruiting and managing a team of volunteers.

As an intern, I assisted the Health Promotion Unit at the WHO HQ in Geneva. My responsibilities included:- Working on projects related to health literacy and health promoting schools.- Editing draft research documents supplied by international universities on life-skills education and wrote a literature review on interventions and measures for health literacy.- Producing the report following a Regional Focal Points Meeting for our unit, which hosted the Heads of Department from all six WHO regions.
