    Data Analysis is like if we were to step aside and watch the flow of traffic and if everyone was going 90 miles an hour would one individual be singled out? I think not, but if one individual was going 90 miles an hour and the remainder of the traffic was going 65 is there a greater chance that the one individual doing 90 will be pulled out to be looked at and asked why they are going faster than everyone else! The likely hood is yes. Is it not the way the Insurance Companies look at the data traffic with submissions. It takes one Physician going 90 miles an hour to cause our entire Tax ID to be reviewed.That is so true for our Physicians but with out reviewing the volumes of data how fast do we know our Physicians are going in comparison to all other Physicians.

    Having owned a Medical Billing Company I am in AWWW as to what I see in the Open Practice Solutions product. They have integrated the EDI clearinghouse into the Practice Management System. They have created a crosswalk from the ICD9 to the ICD10.... It also goes backwards as well. To see this bi-directional system is incredible. No more double entry on a claim!! The clearinghouse is built into the Open Practice Management System..... It is all in the Practice Management System!!!! You have to see it for yourself.
