    I was hired as a Factory Hand/Sea Medical Officer as the 'Austral Leader' Factory Vessel couldn't sale without a Sea Medic.So I hopped on the 'Austral Leader" that was dry docked in Littleton Christchurch getting refitted. Our Crew sailed out heading for Antarctic on the Australian Dependence (Australian waters ). It took at least a couple weeks to finally arrive at the Ice shelf . When we got there we got a phone call from Austral Fisheries, Kaulis and France brothers in Perth to inform us that we would be steaming for 2 weeks and arriving in Albany South of Western Australia.Instead of docking in Perth we had received another call from Kaulis and France brothers informing us that we were going to be refitting the boat and supplying the boat in Capetown South Africa and fishing around Madagascar Mauritius Rodriguez in the Indian Ocean.
