    I am an accomplished Career Based Learning and Development Specialist with a special interest in Business Start Ups and Outplacement Support.I always had a desire to start my own business having seen her immigrant parents work hard to start an electrical engineering company. This dream was fulfilled after 23 years working for a large multi national travel organisation. I completed my Masters Degree in Human Resource Development and a coaching qualification in preparation for this change in direction.Starting a business was both an exciting and daunting time in my life. I believe that if you have clear passion, enthusiasm and patience to work hard for your business idea, then you are already on the road to success. I armed myself by attending a range of business start up workshops and in 2002 Q A Learning Design Limited was launched. I was so motivated by the pleasure and satisfaction gained from being in charge of my destiny that I obtained SFEDI accreditation and became a Business Counsellor working for local Enterprise bodies.Nowadays I have demonstrable experience across a variety of business sectors, providing strategic learning and development support services, as well individual career coaching. Much of the coaching is through my work as a Senior Associate with Outplacement Organisations where I am one of their self employment experts. Such is my enthusiasm for business, I have spent the last 12 years giving time to The Prince’s Trust as a Business Mentor, delivering training and occasionally sitting on the panel that awards grants/loans. I motivate young people to achieve their dreams of success. In my home town of Bourne in Lincolnshire, I spend time working with the unemployed and I am a Trustee of a local charity, The Len Pick Trust.I believe my greatest skill is enabling people - whether that is to achieve their potential, reach for their dreams, attain their personal goals, travel a different career path or find happiness.
