    Rehabilitated and operated a 140-year-old Stone and Timber Lodge and Restaurant. Many previous owners had tried and failed to rehabilitate this beautiful piece of Sierra Nevada history. This opportunity was probably the ultimate challenge of my career. We provided on-site lodging and kitchen facilities for temporary workers and subcontractors, while providing housekeeping and catering services for groups as large as 60 people on weekends.

    Complete design and rebuild of a 1956 ranch home in the Biltmore District in Phoenix. Leaving only three walls and a 2600 sq. ft. foundation, the house was transformed into a 3,200 sq. ft. open plan with vaulted ceilings and ample 1300 sq. ft. garage, with over 1,200 ft of covered patios adjacent to a rehabilitated swimming pool with lush irrigated landscaping. Self performed installation of a new 400 amp underground electrical service, added Natural Gas, applied industrial construction techniques while coordinating all trades using a combination of hired employees and sub-contractors. Worked with designer to apply unique concepts and applications, including the use of non-standard materials. Installation of energy improvement devices, relocation of boilers, furnaces, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, food service areas. High Pressure Natural gas, Compressed air & Nitrogen gas lines, Chilled water, condenser & cooling water piping and various specialty gases. Including modifications to acid waste drains, handling systems and emergency on-call services.
