SCORE is a national association of volunteers who donate time to help small businesses succeed. Through free one-on-one counseling and mentoring services and seminars. SCORE volunteers help prospective and established business owners and managers identify problems, determine their causes and find solutions. SCORE Las Vegas, Chapter #243 is one of over 300 chapters in the U.S. that provide such services. SCORE' nor it's resource partner, the U.S. Small Business Administration does not provide any direct funding. However, the SBA does provide loan guarantees through affiliated lenders. SCORE counselors can also help successful firms improve distribution, evaluate expansion, modify products and meet other business challenges.
