About the Project – Water WorksWaterworks is an innovative project which is being implemented with the support of Unilever Foundation and facebook in 75 Geographies of Bhopal District. With the support of National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) PSI implemented Condom Social Marketing Program (CSMP) to promote condom usage for Family Planning and HIV Prevention. The program focuses on increasing distribution and sales in urban and rural areas as well as creating awareness among the target group on using condom for prevention from unwanted pregnancy and STI/HIV. PSI implemented the targeted CSMP in 28 high priority districts of Madhya Pradesh. While the condom distribution and sales were key component of the program across all 28 districts, the behavior change communication activities were aimed to encourage and promote consistent condom use among the target audience.Job Responsibilities•Managed over all communication activities in the all 28 program districts.•Supported three and Communication Coordinators and 84 Inter Personal Coordinators in preparing the monthly and quarterly project reports for NACO.•Reporting and Documentation to NACO•Preparing the rout plan and monitor the adherence for the same.•In Phase III more than 1.6 Million people was reached and in Phase IV 2 Million people reached Correct and consistent use of condom.•To achieve the target we conducted various Mid media and Mass Media activities which was Street Plays, Infotainment Game activities, Positive Association with Condom (PAC).•Supported in designing of Poster, Banner, Hording, danglers, Multi size Stickers, Van designing, Tin Plate, Inflatable costumes etc.•Supported in Script writing, concepts for various mid media activities.•Rolled out the community Radio Activities (broad casting and Narrow casting)•Successfully organized Red Ribbon Express campaign, Red Ribbon Bus Campaign and Migrants Campaign to Support Madhya Pradesh State AIDS Control Society.•Organized Auto Rickshaw Rally in 16 Districts of Madhya Pradesh to create awareness about condom.•Undertaken monitoring visit and support the team of quality implementation

PACT Project, Global Fund Round-6: Promoting Access to Care and Treatment was rolled out in 22 districts of Madhya Pradesh. The project was aimed to Reduce HIV and AIDS related deaths in Adults, women and children. The program was technically supported by National AIDS Control Society and financially supported by Global Fund Round Six. Rajiv Gandhi Mission for Watershed Management is an ambitious programme of Government of M.P., for sustainable development of area on watershed basis. It not only aims at conservation of natural resources like land and water, but also attempts to improve economic conditions of villagers by enhancing their employment opportunities in their village. This programme has innovated the approach of watershed management through community participation. At present this programme is being implemented in all 459 blocks of M.P. in an area of about 3 million hectares. The Government of Madhya Pradesh set up Rajiv Gandhi Mission for Watershed Management in August 1994.Job Responsibilities•Developed capacity building measures to enhance the capability of Self Help Groups (SHGs) user groups and other project related livelihood groups in undertaking poverty focused, micro finance and micro enterprise activities.•Supported in monitoring Block level quarterly and annual capacity building work plans and budgets for primary and secondary stakeholders to support poverty focused micro finance and micro credit initiatives.•Facilitated and supported systematic reporting, monitoring, grading and categorizing of SHGs.•Identifying key micro enterprise activities to be linked with various SHGs and other livelihood groups.•Liaison with the line departments, DRDA, bankers, NGOs, other project partners and district administration to promote and ensure credit linkages for various livelihood groups, SHGs, etc.•Develop project plan, Participatory Rural Appraisal , Logical Framework Analysis and Participatory Net Planning, budget and provided support to the district team and monitored core group at the cluster level.•Management and use of Management Information System (MIS) for systematic collection, analysis and feed back as a decision support system for day to day project management.•Supporting baseline, evaluation and impact studies to generate learning for the project.
