    Recipient of Summer Research Scholarship working on Dr Chandima Ekanayake’s project, “IoT communication system and standalone power supply design for Transformer monitoring system”. Our team worked on developing a system to monitor the condition of distribution transformers, process the information and transmit the data to the cloud. I developed the code and signal processing using C, integrating the sensors and the LoRa communication from the microcontroller. This involved collecting temperature and vibration readings from the transformer and then processing the vibrations using digital signal processing techniques on an STM microcontroller. The data is then packaged and transmitted using the LoRa platform.
