As Group Editorial Director, I oversee a group that publishes society affiliated STM journals, books, and websites in oncology and other areas of clinical medicine. I work closely with my staff to develop the flagship journal ONCOLOGY, one of the most widely read journals in oncology, and am responsible for oversight of reference works. We publish in print, online, and in app/digital magazine format. I have fiscal responsibility for the department and work closely with executive management as well as sales, marketing, and the development team to strategize and grow revenue across my portfolio.

Some of our accomplishments included:• Raising the impact factor of our flagship journal from 1.2 to 3.1088 through intensive journal development• Partnership and collaboration with several key societies in oncology including the ACCC and ASCO• The annual update of a Major Reference Work edited by JCO’s past EIC, Daniel Haller at UPenn, and Rick Pazdur at the FDA• Growing traffic and engagement on the primary website, cancernetwork.com, by over 200%• Lauching our community website for oncology nurses, TheONC.org
