• Manage the project activities in the field on behalf of the Team leader• Responsible for the project administration with regards to: a) office and personnel matters for project operations in close cooperation with the Team leader and the Administrator, b) project related budget management, c) Management of project vehicles, equipments and materials according to GIZ rules & regulations.• Disbursement and management of project funds in mutual agreement with administrator according to GIZ rules & procedures.• Coordinate closely with Head of different project units and specialists from GIZ DETA.• Advice assists, supervise and motivate the assigned DETA staff in all matters with regards to project implementations.• Coordinate closely with the County departments at Boma and Payam level, and other institutions and organizations with regard to DETA matters.• Facilitate process of integrating GIZ -DETA project concepts and programs into Boma and Payam plans• Report on program activities to the project management by providing regular progress reports in close collaboration with head of units and along with M&E system of reporting.• Assist in project planning, monitoring & evaluation.• Identify capacity building needs of staffs. Plan, budget and supervise the timely implementation of all capacity building measures for staff.• Analyze, asses and provide recommendations on project proposals by County administration development partners, beneficiaries and other relevant stakeholders.• Supervise, conduct and design impact assessments and other field studies related to project activities.
