    My role entails identification and management of asset reliability risks that could adversely affect the company operations and to develop asset life cycle plans and manage maintenance projects and contracts within the Technical Services department. Other deliverables in my current role are provision of technical support to operations, maintenance and technical personnel. I also apply value analysis to Equipment Life cycle be it - repair/replace, repair/redesign, and make/buy decisions. Through collaboration with other stakeholders such as Finance - Supply Chain I assist in the preparation and drafting of commercial bids and tenders relating to asset maintenance, as well as doing performance management of asset maintenance vendors.My other key responsibility is initiation, planning and overseeing preventative maintenance projects. As the Section Head I make recommendations on capital plans and expenditure with regard to asset reliability and maintenance to the HOD , as well as ensuring that there is always SHE, legal and statutory compliance to Asset maintenace.I am a member of Botswana Institute of Engineers ( BIE ) and registered as Profesional Engineer with Engineers Registration Board Botswana ( ERB ). I serve on the advisory commitee of the University Of Botswana Technology Tranfer Unit ,and a commitee member of Standards & conduct of Engineers in Botswana at Engineers Registration Board ( ERB ).
