Was also supervising Kandla Port (Gandhidham, Gujarat) activities, which mainly included unloading of ship, bulk godowning, bagging and all India dispatches through Rail and Road. i.e. logistics planning.Major Achievement in this assignment: -I had multidimensional responsibilities viz: -Sales and Marketing - This involves: - Self involvement in Target Oriented direct selling through distributors and dealers network.Selection of distributors.Developing dealers network.Imparting training to the field and commercial staff.Managing field godowns.Logistic planning.Pricing and Incentive Schemes for the area under operation.Extension activities which included supervision of community centers in rural and urban areas, organizing farmers gathering and Kisan Melas and participation in national fairs.Liaison with State Govt. and related industries.New products launching.
