As the Assistant Residence Life Coordinator I was responsible for co-supervising a staff of 14 undergraduate Apartment Assistants and 1 Graduate Apartment Assistant in an area of 1,200 students. Some of my responsibilities consisted of monthly large scale programming which corresponded with the residents needs, semester welcome week events, maintaining the staff committees which consisted of Public Relations, Large scale programming as well as staff bonding and overseeing the hall RHA (Resident Hall Association). Along with 1:1's with each staff member I completed 1:1's with the President, Co-President and Vice President of RHA to help them improve on their individual leadership skills as well as personal development. Crisis Rotation: As a graduate assistant in Residence Life I participated on a campus duty rotation for the Cook/Douglass campus which is home to 3,500 students and lasted a week. I responded to intoxication calls as well as general issues that may be called in by the Resident Assistant on Duty.

On this Committee I worked with Professional Staff members within Residence Life to create a winter training schedule for about 30 Professional staff members, 25 Graduate staff members, as well as around 300 Undergraduate staff members. I was responsible for assisting with the educational breakout sessions for the undergraduate students as well as providing input for the overall logistics for the day. On the day the undergraduate training I was responsible for assisting with the break out session setups by making sure each room had an audience and directing the flow of staff members.
