Develops and integrates U.S. Army training and education doctrine across all cohorts in support of Joint International, Inter-Agency and Multi-National environments. Oversee 17 schools and Centers of Excellence throughout the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command on matters dealing with Leadership Development and Education, Lessons Learned, and Doctrine and Simulations.

    Senior executive level management position in a two star division headquarters, leading six brigade size elements to include four Heavy Combat Brigades, a Sustainment Brigade and a Combat Aviation Brigade. Provided advice and recommendations to the senior commanders and managers on all subordinate personnel issues (approximately 70,000 personnel, family members, civilians, and retirees) including assignments, legal matters, and morale. Establish and maintain standards for training and organizational administration in over 120 career management fields. Developed and enforced policy standards for safety, leaders training, personnel programs, and individual and lower level collective training in support of organizational readiness.Senior officer and advisor to a two star command conducting full spectrum international operations in Iraq. Provided expert advice and counsel to executive leadership on all issues across the Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership, Personnel, Facilitates spectrum. Key member of the Command Group that planned and led combat operations in Baghdad, Iraq during the very successful “Surge.” Improved support to all personnel while serving at an international level of operations with an American force of 50,000 military personnel and an additional 40,000 Coalition forces; task organized into medium business units of approximately 5,000 service members and over 10,000 civilian and coalition members. Planned, implemented, and monitored training for all enlisted personnel in 135 different career management fields as counseling and guidance were provided through the chain of command.

Command Sergeant Major of a Light Cavalry Squadron supporting the XVIII Airborne Corps worldwide contingency operations and combat operations in Iraq; responsible for the discipline, health, morale, and welfare of over 900 Soldiers.
